SINGER | SONGWRITER | INDEPENDENT RECORDING ARTIST

At age 15, Ben started his career in music, joining his 1st garage band.  As a weekend warrior, he was the lead guitar/vocal in many bands over the years, including The Famous Lees of Krumville, Thunder Ridge and the Ben Rounds Band.  In 2011, Ben started living the dream as a successful full-time working musician.  In January of 2014, Ben began his solo career, averaging at least 15 public and private shows a month.  Eight months later, he released his long awaited debut album, self-titled “Ben Rounds”.

Every song on both albums were written/co-written and composed by Ben Rounds.  Ben is a veteran song-writer of 35 years, his songs are “a hybrid blend of traditional country, rockabilly, blues and folk, often drawing from the driving energy of Chuck Berry rock-n-roll and the intensity of Hank Williams country” as described by Fred Perry.  To quote the review of his debut album by Dina Kaliko, “Ben Rounds’ self-titled solo album reveals country music odes to blue collar America, dogs, and groupies with killer guitar licks, harmonica, dancing tunes and sensitive spot-on love songs.”
